Intercultural gamming at Tromsø Kunstforening
A “gam” is a social event arranged when two ships meet on the open seas. Each ship send out visitors to the other, and they exchange information and stories about foreign ports and waters. SEAS bring visitors from such places. Come and listen to their stories and tell them yours. Meet the people behind the art and update your understanding of the Black Sea region, the region of Northern Norway, and how they relate. Trine Falch will lead the conversation in high spirits and broken English. Welcome!

Trine Falch
As a theatre student at the University of Bergen in the 80s, Trine Falch was part of the interdisciplinary scene that both Verdensteatret, B.I.T. and Baktruppen emerged from.
During a few years in Verdensteatret and many years in the artist collective Baktruppen, the work developed from visual theatre, via conceptual performance to an open field beyond genre, where life and art blends in unpredictable ways, always live.
Trine Falch has been living in Tromsø since 2007.
