RISING WATER
If the Greenland ice sheet melts, the sea level of the world will rise by around seven meters. Large parts of Tromsø centre, including Storgata, will be under water. The city’s new shoreline will cut through the centre, and Tromsø Cathedral will be just by the sea’s edge. Rising water is a sound installation that places the sea in the middle of Tromsø, 7 meters above today’s sea level.
